Meet our rooms

All our rooms are awesome and can be used in lots of different ways. If you are hosting a party, a fitness class or full on 300 person sit down meal or concert we have a room that will work for you. The Kingsmere community centre is split into two sides with six different areas and full size kitchen that can be used to create the perfect space for your event. All our rooms have free super-fast Wifi, access to the outside spaces, lift access if on the 1st floor and access to as many tables and chairs as needed. The main hall is a (252m2) huge double height room, running the length of the building. The hall has a sprung floor so perfect for events or sports and has a full audio system, lights (disco style), HD projector, stage and portable microphone with hearing aid loop system, it also as a hatch with direct access to the kitchen. The room can be setup for banquets (around 200 people), auditorium style, with or without our stage (around 400 people) or around 500+ standing/with limited seating. More...

Boardroom 1

Carpeted upstairs room

Boardroom 1 is a large (54m2) carpeted room upstairs in the main building. The room is perfect for 20 - 40 people seated (conference style) or 40+ standing. The room has access to a kitchenette, full air conditioning and a hearing aid loop system. A movable divide allows this room to be used on its own or in conjunction with Boardroom 2 as one large room. More...

Boardroom 2

Carpeted upstairs room

Boardroom 2 is a long (50m2) carpeted room upstairs in the main building, next to Boardroom 1. The room is slightly smaller than BR1 and is more of an auditorium style. It is perfect for 15 - 30 people seated (conference style) or 30+ standing. The room has access to a kitchenette, full air conditioning and a hearing aid loop system. A movable divide allows this room to be used on its own or in conjunction with Boardroom 1 as one large room. More...

Youth room 1

Ground floor meeting room with AV

Youth room 1 is a nice room (46m2) in our Youth building with a full audio system and TV. This room is perfect for smaller dance groups 10 – 30 people, a meetings with around 20 - 40 people seated or 50+ standing/limited seating. The room has access to a kitchenette, full air conditioning and both YR1 and YR2 have joining doors that can be opened to join the spaces together if required. More...

Youth room 2

Ground floor meeting room

Youth room 2 is very similar to YR1 (42m2) in our Youth building but has no audio or TV. This room is perfect for smaller dance groups 10 – 30 people, a meetings with around 20 - 40 people seated or 60+ standing/limited seating. The room has access to a kitchenette, full air conditioning and both YR1 and YR2 have joining doors that can be opened to join the spaces together if required. More...

Main Kitchen

Our huge kitchen

In addition to all our lovely rooms and kitchenettes, we also have a large fully kitted out kitchen that can be hired along with any of our rooms. The kitchen has a full size fridge, freezer, oven and hob along with all the plates, mugs, glasses you would need for a party. It has opening hatches to both the Café and the main hall. More...

The Café

Opening early 2019

Our café area is available for coffee meetings and general catch-up. It has access to the main kitchen and is the first area you get to when you enter the building. The KCC team are looking to open up a community café in this space for local residents, so you can pop in after school drop off for a nice coffee and a slice of cake. Stay tuned. More...

Outside spaces

All the fresh air you can shake a stick at

Our outside space has a few options. The Youth centre has a small walled off garden that is accessible from both rooms. We also have a large paved area at the back off the community building and next to this a multi-purpose sports pitch (basketball and football). More...
